Bio

Margie was born May 21, 1933 in Peeltown to Dempsie Virgil Elston and Virgie Mae Brewer Elston. While attending Kemp High School, she met the love of her life, Jeff Tarpley. They were married October 28, 1950, and the marriage would last almost 70 years until his death in 2020. Jeff and Margie were blessed with three children, Kathie, Sherron and Tommy. They were also blessed with 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, Nana and friend. She was the Matriarch of her family and was admired, respected and loved by them all. She will be greatly missed.
