Bio
Ellis L. Frederiksen was born September 8, 1901 at Panama, Nebraska the son of Hans J. and Mary K. Petersen Frederiksen and died at Aurora, Nebraska on November 8, 1976, following a short illness, at the age of 75 years and 2 months. As a small boy the family moved to Wolbach, Nebraska, where he grew to manhood. In 1927 he moved with his parents to the vicinity of Giltner, where he assisted with farming. During World War II he worked at the Navy Ammunition Depot in Hastings. Since 1951 he has made his home with McKinley Hanger near Giltner, until they moved to Aurora in October of this year. Ellis was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Mrs. Leila Killinger and brother, Alvin Frederiksen. His survivors are two brothers, Guy Frederiksen of Grand Island and Dale Frederiksen of Council Blluffs, Iowa; sisters, Mrs. Stella Hansen of St. Paul and Mrs. Leola Ott of Aurora; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and close friends.
