Bio

Audell Jaecks Payne, 94, of Pflugerville, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022. Audell was born in Hutto on March 24, 1927 to the late Oscar and Lena (Mayhall) Jaecks. She graduated from Hutto High School. She was working as a key punch operator for Merchants Fast Motor Lines in San Angelo when she met the love her life, Tom. She married Tom Ellis Payne on June 15, 1946; they were married for 66 years before his passing on March 4, 2012. She worked as an Accountant for the Texas Department of Health. After retirement, she became Office Manager for BJ Electric for 21 years. Audell is survived by her sons, Robert Payne and wife Mei, daughter in law Christy Payne (Rachel), son Jackie Payne and wife Penny (Tammye, Laurie, Bo, Leslie), Thomas Payne and wife Barbara (Jeromie, Alicia, Jessica, Tresa, Amber), Billy Payne and wife Lynn (Mandy, Shannon, Clint); and, James Payne and wife Nickie (Bradley, Haylee). She is also survived by 22 great grand children and 4 great-great grand children. Audell is preceded in death by her beloved husband Tom, her son Gary; six brothers, and two sisters. Jeromie Payne, Bradley Payne, Carson Austin, Jesse Perez, Donnie Jaecks, and Gary Anders will serve as pallbearers. The Payne's will welcome family and friends for visitation on Friday, January 28, 2022 from 6pm to 8pm at Condra Funeral Home, Taylor Tx. Services will be on Saturday at 1:00pm at the same location with Buddy Payne officiating. Burial will follow at Hutto Cemetery.
