Teresa L (Polk) Helm, age 59, passed away on Nov. 7, 2013. Terri was born to Thomas L. and Viola E. (Masin) Polk on Oct. 29, 1954. Terri was an avid Harley rider and loved the water, outdoors, her artwork and spending time with family. Survivors include husband, Kevin Helm of Lincoln; son, Matthew R. Helm of Lincoln; parents, Thomas L. and Viola E. Polk of Waverly; brother, Thomas F. (Deanna) Polk of Omaha; sister, Jennifer L. (Paul) Valenta of Crete; best friend, Jackie L. Winsor of Lincoln; nephews and nieces, Jason and Derrick Ackley, Courtney, Danielle and Spencer Polk; and numerous cousins. Proceeded in death by her infant son, Kevin R. Helm Jr. Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 11, at Wadlow Rozanek Funeral Home, 5200 R Street, Lincoln. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 11, at Wadlow Rozanek Funeral Home, 5200 R Street, Lincoln. Mass of the Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 6111 Morrill Ave, Lincoln.
