Thomas Leo "Lee" Polk, 90, of Waverly, was born on April 19, 1928 and passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 10th surrounded by family. Tom is preceded in death by his parents; daughter: Terri Helm; son: Tom Polk; and grandson Robert Kevin Helm: and siblings: John (Norma) Polk; Larry (Harriett) Polk; Virginia (Leonard) Kouma; Mary (Bud) Olson and Cathy (Bob) Nissen. Tom was an outdoorsman, family man and military man. He served in the United States Marine Corps, United States Air Force, Air National Guard and the United States Navy Reserve for over 34 years
