Marvin D. Burson, 67, of Kearney passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at his home in Kearney. Private Family services will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022. He will be laid to rest in the Ord City Cemetery. Flowers can be directed to the Ord Memorial Chapel. Marvin Dean was born on January 17, 1954, at Ord, Nebraska to LeRoy L. and D. Maxine (Hammond) Burson. He graduated from Ord High School in 1973. Marvin was united in marriage to Edith Hulinsky in 1974. He worked at Ord Manufacturing until 1976, and then entered the agriculture field. Marvin worked on various farms and feedlots as a feed truck driver in the Burwell and Holdrege areas until 2000. He then worked various jobs in the Kearney and Ord areas until his retirement. Marvin enjoyed camping, classic cars and spending time with his kids. Survivors include three sons, Joe and Angie Burson, and their three children, of Aurora, Chad Burson of Grand Island and Chris Burson of Kearney; several brothers from Texas, Missouri and Nebraska; a sister of Ord; and many other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Loren.
