Edith Ann Burson, 64, of Grand Island, Nebraska died August 23, 2020 at CHI Health St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island, Nebraska. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 27, 2020 at National Cemetery south of Burwell, Nebraska. Pastor JB Sikes will officiate. Edith was born March 10, 1956 in Burwell, Nebraska to Mike and Alice (Bruha) Hulinsky. She went to grade school at District 56 in Valley County and graduated from Burwell High School in 1974. Edith married Marvin Burson in 1975. They lived in the Kearney and Holdrege areas while Marvin worked ondifferent farms and feedlots. They were divorced in 2009. Edith enjoyed cooking, gardening and her kids. Edith is survived by three sons, Joe and Angie Burson and their children, Ethan, Tegan and Emily of Aurora, Nebraska and Chad Burson of Grand Island,Nebraska and Chris Burson of Kearney, Nebraska. Three brothers, Vince and June Hulinsky of Burwell, Nebraska, Ray and Virgie Hulinsky of LaMars, Iowa and Lumir and Connie Hulinsky of Lincoln, Nebraska. Edith was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Stan Hulinsky.
