Ludmilla Grossman married John Cernoch on November 23, 1897 in West, McLennan County, Texas. John Cernoch also went by John Black. (Cernoch translates from Czech to English as Black Man, so he must have decided to use the American version of his name.) I find him as John Black in the 1920 Census - Waco Ward 3, McLennan, Texas - 813 So. 10th, Waco, McLennan Co., Texas. Lillie is also listed along with four children. This is the same address as what is on John's World War I Draft Registration Card, dated 12 Sep 1918 at 813 So. 10th, Waco, McLennan Co., Texas, on which he is listed as John Cernoch.) John Cernoch made his Declaration of Intention to become an American Citizen on September 20, 1940 in Waco, McLennan Co., Texas.
