Jean Eleanor Laudon, 73, of Pennersville Road Cascade, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2007 at the St. Catherine's Nursing Home in Emmitsburg. Born March 25, 1934, in Thurmont, she was the daughter of the late Frank M. and Ella E. Eyler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter W. (Chuck) Laudon, February 19, 1991. They were married November 1, 1963. She attended the Thurmont area school. She operated Lewis Restuarant in Thurmont for 10 years. She was a member of the Thurmont Church of the Brethren. She is survived by her son, Tony M. Schildt, of Waynesboro, Pa.; granddaughter, Toni M. Beauchamp and husband, Wesley, of Waynesboro, Pa.; great-granddaughter, Abigail Renae; and two nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, Caroll Eyler and Herbert Eyler. There will be no viewing. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday Dec. 10 at the Blue Ridge Cemetery in Thurmont with Rev. Linda Lambert offciating. Arrangements are by J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg.
