Fremont Tribune (Fremont, Nebraska) 14 Mar 1995, Tue Page 2 Colon - Agnes A. Paseka , 90, of Buckeye, Ariz., formerly of Colon, died Sunday, March 12, 1995, at Royal Sun West Nursing Home at Avondale, Ariz. Agnes Virka was born March 5, 1905, in Morse Bluff, where she grew up. She married Joseph Paseka May 16, 1923, in Prague. The farmed in the Morse Bluff and Cedar Bluffs area for more than 50 years. In 1975, she moved to Colon after her retirement and then moved to Arizona. Her husband died Oct. 14, 1987. She was a member of the Western Fraternal Life Association at Morse Bluff and American Legion Auxiliary to Post 340 at Morse Bluff. Survivors include three sons, Bernard of North Bend, Emil of Fremont and Ronald of Modesto, Calif.; a daughter, Irene Hiatt of Goodyear, Ariz.; a brother, Edward of Cedar Bluffs; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Moser Memorial Chapel in North Bend. The Rev. Daniel Galas will officiate. Burial will be at Killian Cemetery near Morse Bluff.
