North Bend Eagle (North Bend, Nebraska) 12 Apr 1945, Thu Page 1 Funeral Services Held for Emil Virka Funeral services for Emil W. Virka, 35, who died at the Prague hospital Thursday of last week, were held at the Z.C.B.J. hall in Morse Bluff, Saturday afternoon. Burial was made in the Killian cemetery near Morse Bluff. The Sellhorn funeral home was in charge of arrangements. Emil Virka was born December 28, 1909, on a farm three miles south of Morse Bluff. On October 2, 1934, he was married to Miss Emma Nesladek. To this union three children were born, two girls and one boy. One daughter, Elaine, preceded him in death. Mr. Virka spent his entire life on a farm. Ill health forced him to give up his work, and he moved to North Bend only two weeks ago. He leaves to mourn his death, his wife, one daughter, Darlene one son, Vern, his mother, Mrs. Emma Virka, a brother, Ed Virka of Cedar Bluffs, two sisters, Mrs. Joe Paseka of Morse Bluff, and Mrs. William Chicacek of Modale, Iowa, and his grandmother, Mrs. Veronica Racek of Morse Bluff.
