Bio

John H. Talburt was the son of Simeon Wilhoit Talburt and Mary Frances "Fanny" Yoakum. He married Adeline (surname unknown) in about 1845. She was born about 1830 in Tennessee. To this union were born: Susan Talburt 1846-__?__ Mary Talburt 1848-__?__ William B. Talburt 1850-1916 John's livelihood was farming. He died in 1851 at the age of 29 and was buried in Talburt Casey Cemetery in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Adeline died a few years later (some family trees say 1854, but this has not been documented). Her burial location is unknown, but is likely to be in Talburt Casey Cemetery near her husband.
