Bio
Ms. Lynn passed away peacefully on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital at the age of 72. She was a retired cafeteria manager with the WBR School System. Ms. Lynn was a resident of Fordoche, LA and a native of LeCompte, LA. Visitation will be at Wilbert Funeral Home in Port Allen on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 5pm to 9pm, and again on Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 8am until service at 10am. Entombment will follow at St. Francis Cabrini Cemetery – Livonia. She is survived by her son: Darren Altazan (Lynn); daughter: Michelle Orillion (Michael); sister: Desi Courville; two brothers: Jerrold Lamkin (Mary), James T. Lamkin (Joanne); grandchildren: Amber Smith (Myron), Avery Smith, Cameron Orillion & Hayden Orillion; great grandchild: Hollis Beach. She is preceded in death by her husband: Anthony Leon; Parents: Willie and Mell McElwee Lamkin; sister: Madaline Peavy. Ms. Lynn never met a stranger and always had a smile on her face. She loved to have a good time and was an avid pool player.
