The Daily Republic; Mitchell, South Dakota; Friday, September 16, 1960; Page 13 By Republic News Service Funeral Set At Dixon Saturday For Tom Pesek GREGORY -- Funeral services for Tom Pesek, 50, Dixon, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17 at the Methodist Church in Gregory. The Rev. John DeVries officiating. Burial will be in the Bohemian Cemetery south of Gregory with the Kotrba Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Pesek died at a Sioux Falls hospital on Thursday. He was born Dec. 4, 1909, at Herrick, S. D., the son of Joseph and Mary Pesek and spent his lifetime near Gregory, Colome and Dixon. He was married to Sylvia Novotny on March 15, 1958, and they lived on a farm north of Dixon until the time of his death. Survivors are the widow; his mother, Mrs. Mary Pesek of Colome; two brothers, Joe of Gregory and James of Colome; his four sisters, Mrs. Matt Viktora of Fairfax, Mrs. Adolph Studney of Blair, Neb., Mrs. Joe Shavlik of Gregory and Mrs. Joe Maska of Colome. Pallbearers will be B. M. Kratzer, Eldon Hasche, Alfred Dobesh, Robert Pastian, of Gregory and Bill Rokousek of Gedded and James Brozcik of Dixon. all spelling and punctuation as it appeared in the paper. (GH)
