Marjorie Belz Marcaurele, 78, passed away Monday, September 06, 2021. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 12, 2021, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham, TX. Funeral services will be Monday, 10:00 am, September 13, 2021, at Memorial Oaks Chapel, officiated by Bobbie Maltas, with burial and graveside service at Masonic Cemetery in Chappell Hill, TX. Marjorie was born in Taylor, Texas, to Olga Harms Belz and Emil Walter Belz on December 5, 1942. She was united in holy matrimony to Lawson Scott "Scotty" Marcaurele in the Fairbanks Methodist Church in Houston, TX, on December 21, 1963. She was preceded in death by her husband, Scotty, on November 14, 2012, and her son, Randy, on August 19, 1966. Marjorie enjoyed gardening, music, playing softball, sports, traveling, taking cruises, and fishing. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her son, Chris Marcaurele and wife, Kristine, of Houston; sister, Nelda Belz Wilson and brother, David Belz, of Houston, TX, best friend, Earl Fenske, of Austin, TX, and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 West Main Street, Brenham, TX 77833.
