Bio

Nadine Pauline Belz was crushed to death when a tractor on which she was riding overturned into a ditch. She was riding on the tractor with her father, Emil Belz, who was trapped under the heavy farm machine, but escaped serious injury. Justice of the Peace W.C. Ragan said the child's head and chest were crushed when the tractor's brakes failed to hold and it rolled over into the ditch. Article taken from April 11, 1947 edition of The Mexia Weekly Herald
