Alex Zezulka, 89, passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2021. Alex was born in Blue, TX near Taylor on October 1, 1931 to the union of Joe & Mary Zezulka. Alex was a strong, generous, and loving man that lived a long & plentiful life. He learned at an early age about hard work which helped mold his strong work ethic. He worked at Alcoa Aluminum in Rockdale, TX for 39 ½ years as a crane operator. Alex was the proud husband to his beloved wife, Theresa Zezulka, whom he married in December 1973 and lived in Manor, Texas for almost 48 years. Alex and Theresa together shared many decades of love with a large blended family. Alex and Theresa shared 7 children, 18 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. Alex loved the outdoors and was often found on his John Deere tractor, tending to his glorious, one-acre, vegetable garden. He also enjoyed barbequing, along with a cold beer to keep him cool in the heat! Alex always had a project to keep him busy, even into his later years. Alex never met a stranger. His love for people was always on display, with his big smile and his kind, sparkling, blue eyes. Alex will be truly missed by his family and friends. He was one of a kind! Alex is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Mary Zezulka; daughter, Cathy Woodward; sisters, Dorothy Williams and Sybil Srnensky; and his brothers, Johnny, Jerry, Benny, and Henry Zezulka. Alex is survived by his wife, Theresa Zezulka; daughter, Brenda Cantrell (husband Floyd); son, Michael Beck (wife Reba); daughter, Debbie Beck; daughter, Beverly Luce (husband Jon); daughter, Niki Zezulka; daughter, Gina Easley (husband Wilbert). He is also survived by his brother, Eugene Zezulka (wife Audrey); sister, Betty Carpenter (husband Jon); sister, Evelyn Kaatz; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
