Nelda Ruth Parrish February 15, 1932 - July 23, 2021 Nelda Burton Parrish of Pursley passed away at her home on Friday, July 23, 2021. She was born on February 15, 1932 in Childress County to Billie and Lola Burton. She worked along beside her husband of 70 years in their grocery and pecan businesses. She is survived by her children Charlie Parrish and wife Brenda, Terry Parrish and wife Donna; grandkids, Crystal Parrish, Chris Parrish and wife Heather, Kyle Parrish and wife Meagan, Jennifer Parrish and David Rackard; great grandkids, Colton, Ryker, and Cade Parrish. She is preceded in death by her husband Harvie; her parents and a sister. Visitation will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, July 27th with the funeral following at 11:00am in the chapel at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home with Chet Brake officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris, Kyle, Colton, Ryker, and Cade Parrish along with David Rackard. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wayne Brooks, Terry Lough and John Miller. In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated made to Pursley Baptist Church
