Lola Burton Nov 4, 1902 - Feb 17, 2004 Lola Burton, 101, of Emhouse passed away Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2004, in Corsicana. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Corley Funeral Home. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Corley Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Teri Hildebrand officiating. Interment will follow at Pattison Cemetery. Mrs. Burton was born Nov. 4, 1902, in Emhouse. She was a lifelong resident of Emhouse and was a charter member of Emhouse Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence "Billy" Burton. Survivors include her daughter, Gloria Roney of Austin; daughter and son-in-law, Nelda Ruth and Harvey Lee Parrish of Pursley; grandsons and their wives, Michael and Beth Roney of Wimberley, Charles Lee and Brenda Parrish and Terry Lynn and Donna Parrish, all of Pursley; granddaughter and her husband, Linda Kay and Evan Arredondo of Austin; great-grandson, Kyley Parrish and Christopher Parrish, both of Pursley, and Nick Roney of Dallas; and great-granddaughters, Jennifer Parrish and Crystal Parrish, both of Pursley, and Adrienne Arredondo of Austin.
