Ila "Jean" Carder , age 79 of Rockwall, TX, passed away March 18, 2010. She was born July 1, 1930, in Pickton, TX, to Forney & Mae (Hitt) Wilcox. Mrs. Carder loved her family and friends and enjoyed crossword puzzles, cribbage and bridge. She lived in Hawaii for 35 years and loved Hawaiian music. Mrs. Carder retired from civil service in Honolulu, Hawaii after 30 plus years and relocated to Rockwall, TX in 1995. She was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her son: Danny Carder & wife Brenda of Cedar Hill, TX; brothers: Royce Wilcox & wife Bea of Irving, TX, and Glenn Wilcox & wife Ruth of Winnsboro, TX; sisters: Allene Davis of Purley, TX, Dell D'Lizarraga & husband Bill of Sulphur Springs, TX, and Glennis Kaczor of Mt. Vernon, TX; grandchildren: Dennis "Jay Jay" Carder, Jr., Sherre McCarroll, Danny "Bo" Carder, Jr., Jeanie Lyn Brummett and Kristian Lamkin; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Carder was preceded in death by her parents; sons: Dennis and Donald Carder; and sisters: Letane Lemons, Princess Cope and Dee Matjasic.
