Bio
Don A. Zwahr, 81, of Rosharon, Texas, passed away on July 6, 2021. He was born on June 15, 1940 in Sugar Land, Texas to Louis Fred Zwahr and Letha Pearl (Bennett) Zwahr. Don was the past Mayor of Bonney, Texas. He loved working on his tractor and deer hunting. This loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend will be missed. In addition to his parents, Don is preceded in death by his wife, Charlette Zwahr. Survivors include his children, Donna Gibbs and her husband, Mark, Russell Zwahr, Michael Zwahr and his wife, Jennifer, and Karen Bankert and her husband, Rob; sisters, Patsy Peebles, Linda Nicodemus, and Sandra McKinney and her husband, Bobby; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. The visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until service time at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 18, 2021, in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Pastor Greg Garcia to officiate the services. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 19, 2021, at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.
