CHARLES LEWIS CHASTAIN was the son of Charles Chalmers Chastain and Mrs. Lucinda Elizabeth (Posey Chastain) Perkins. He was the father of Charles Galen Chastain, James Oliver Chastain, Mary Margaret Chastain, June Alice Chastain and Grover Earl "Butch" Chastain. Obituary "C.L. Chastain Dies Friday --- Charles Lewis Chastain, 58, died Friday morning at the home of his brother, George Chastain, in Waskom. Funeral arrangements are pending with Sullivan Funeral Home. Mr. Chastain was born in Marshall, the son of Charles C. Chastain and Mrs. Lula Posey Chastain. Mr. Chastain had been in ill health about a year, and about three months ago, he had moved to Waskom from Longview. Surviving are two sons; two daughters; two brothers; one sister, Mrs. Jessie Bentley, of Marshall."
