Dear grandpa, I want to do this especially for you. Love, Sandra Thomas S. Ard Funeral services for Thomas S. Ard , 85 of Robertsdale, Al. were held October 12 at 2 p.m. at the Robertsdale United Methodist church with Rev. J. Hamilton Moore officiating. Interment followed in Oak Hill Cemetery, Atmore. He died October 10 in a Mobile hospital after a long illness. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs Ruby kyle, Theodore, Mrs Esther Arrington, Mobile and Mrs Mattie Welch, Robertsdale; eleven grandchildren and thirty great- grandchildren. Active pallbearers included George P. Thames, James Gill,Jimmy Robinson, Frank Rackard, Jimmy Lovelace and Steven Ard. Honorary pallbearers included Bill Peavy, Buck Matthews, George Yukers, Louis Kyle and Earnest Arrington.Mack funeral home, Robertsdale, was in charge of funeral arrangements.
