Bio

Patricia Ann Kelly, 18, daughter of Richard and Bessie (Palmer) Kelly of Van Wert was killed instantly in a head on auto collision, five miles south of Osceola on Highway 69. Robert C. Throckmorton, 23, driver of the car was also killed instantly.She was hurled to the pavement in the crash. "Pat" as she was known, was a waitress at the Chef Cafe in Leon for nearly a year, had been working in Marshalltown for the past few months. Mr. Throckmorton, her fiance, was taking her back to Marshalltown to report for work at the Maid-Rite when the crash occurred. Patricia Ann Kelly is a niece of Luella LaJune (Kelly) (Cover) Bunch . Pat's father, Richard C Kelly is a brother to Luella's first husband, Neil Kelly who is the father of Ruby Jean (Kelly) Owens. Pat is a niece of Luella and Neil Kelly.
