MARIETTA Services for David Lee "Bronco" Shellenberger, 63, will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007, in Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home with Bro. Travis Huffman officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Born on Aug. 12, 1944, in Lindsay, Calif., to David A. and Betty Tabler Shellenberger, he died on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007, at his residence. He was preceded in death by his father. A retired businessman, he enjoyed rodeos, horses and was especially proud of being a member of Pauls Valley Round-up Club. He loved to go "secret shopping." He was the "King of Trivia." He had a true entrepreneur spirit. He was associated with the Church of Christ. A former resident of Marietta, he moved from Pauls Valley to Stephensville, Texas, in 2001. He and Dianna Burkhart were married on Aug. 31, 2001. Survivors include his wife, of the home; his mother, Betty Tabler Shellenberger, Pauls Valley; two sons, Scott Shellenberger and wife, Amber, Omaha, Neb., and Brandon Shellenberger, Del City; a sister, Lilly Norton and husband, Jerry, Pauls Valley; stepsons, Chad Evatt, Dallas, Shane Evatt and wife, Christi, Concorde, N.C., Matt Evatt, Stephenville; Lee Buckhanon and wife, Michelle, Marietta, and Dewayne Buckhanon and wife, Melany, Mt. Pleasant, Mo.; and grandchildren, Brooklyn Shellenberger and Jocelyn Shellenberger. Bearers will be Jerry Norton, Vonder "Pete" Burkhart, Shelton Burkhart, John Gipson, Donald Wayne Northcutt, Butch Shellenberger and Larry Shellenberger.
