Bio
Janet Dymek, 72, of Lincoln, passed away Monday, April 5, 2021, at Bryan Health Medical Center in Lincoln. Janet was born May 20, 1948 to Norbert and Wildrena (Helms) Wieser in Grand Island, NE. Janet was united in marriage to Daniel Dymek on Jan. 20, 1967. To this union they had one daughter: Amanda. The couple loved to fish, golf, entertain friends and watch sports (especially the Yankees). She ran an in-home daycare for over 20 years in Grand Island. She enjoyed gardening and cooking and was amazing at it. She was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Parish. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Amanda Bodfield; granddaughter, Cayleigh, her "Ladybug"; sisters, Marty Bankson and Tom Gallentine and Mary and husband, Lee Cuevas; brother, John and wife, Eileen Gergen; brother in-law, DeWayne, and wife, Rhonda Dymek; numerous nieces and nephews; and other family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel; parents and grandparents.
