Richard Worn Gibson, 88, of Carthage, Texas, was born on February 5, 1933, in Hallsville, Texas, to Clarence Herman and Mollie Sue Waldron Gibson. He served in the U.S. Army during Korea. Richard worked for many years as a welder for Trailmobile. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Susan Gay Gibson, and siblings, Joe Gibson, Jeannette Wolfe, Iva Bell Winchester, Judy Brunson, and Marlin Gibson.
