Frederick, 95, widow of Joel Campbell Frederick, died Saturday at 2 a.m. at home in Powderly, where she was born, 10 Oct 1862. She was a daughter of the late Joseph and Martha (Long) Strange. The funeral will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. at Gene Roden and Sons chapel here by the Rev. Bourdon Smith, Dallas, and the Rev. G.H. (Pat) Etheridge, pastor of Powderly Methodist Church, where Mrs. Frederick was a member. Burial is arranged in Long Cemetery. Mrs. Frederick leaves these children: L. T. Frederick and M. E. Frederick, Fort Worth; Miss Ophelia Frederick and Mrs. E. W. Conder, Powderly; Mrs. L. E. Reed and Mrs. Nora Brackeen, Paris; 28 grandchildren and a number of other descendants." Born in Lamar County, daughter of Joseph and Martha A. Long Strange. Granddaughter of William Perry and Eliza Ann Harrison Long. Married Joel Campbell Frederick in Lamar County Book 8, p. 197. Their children were: Lee C., who married Essie Davidson, in 1904; Luther R., who married Jessie Edwards, in 1905; Minnie Pearl, who married Elias William Conder, in 1911; Vie Anna, who married Lewis Elmer Reed, in 1911; Marvin E., who married Gertrude Glover; Revice A., who married Nina Walters, in 1917; Nora, who married Noah T.
