The Banner Press (David City, Nebr.), December 13, 1990, p. 8B, col. 1 Services held for Gilbert E. Pabian Services for Gilbert E. Pabian, 63, of Phoenix, Ariz., were conducted Tuesday morning, Nov. 27, from St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Phoenix. Burial was in Green Acres Cemetery at Scottsdale, Ariz. Mr. Pabian died Friday, Nov. 23, in Phoenix. The son of Ernest R. and Mary Shavlik Fabian, Gilbert was born Oct. 15, 1927 in Prague. He attended Prague High School. On Nov. 4, 1961, he was united in marriage to Adeline Havlovic at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church at Plasi. One son was born to this union. An army veteran, he was a retired welder and machinist. He lived in Phoenix for the past 27 years. Survivors include his wife, Adeline; a son, David of Phoenix and a brother, Bernard, of Bruno. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, Marion.
