Detroit Free Press, September 12, 2003, p. 4B, col. 3 Death Notices BENARD GEORGIA (nee Matous) age 93, beloved wife of the late Mack Benard and the late Zigmund Mayercyk. Dear sister of Mary Wexelberg and Victor Matous. Many nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews also survive. Visitation Saturday 6-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-8 p.m. at the Wessels & Wilk Funeral Home, 23690 Woodward Avenue, Pleasant Ridge. Rosary Sunday 7 p.m. in state Monday 9:30 a.m. at the St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church, 2900 W. 10 Mile Road (one block east of Middlebelt), until time of her Funeral Mass 10 am. Interment Mt. Olivet. Memorials are suggested to the Marian Oakland Center West.
