Bio

Arthur moved to Verona with his parents when he was about four years of age. It was said his parents purchased the new house on the prairie and land to farm for one of their older sons, Ben and his wife, Olga to live here and work the land. See Ben's obit. It was also said the son found it too difficult to work new land and therefore the parents let the son live and work on the farmstead in Abie, Nebraska and the parents moved to North Dakota with Joseph, Leo, Mary, Zita, Arthur and Victor. John s little sister Anna also moved with the family. The children attended school in Verona and were all excellent students. Arthur was an especially intelligent man with a bright future. Arthur was making plans to become a teacher. The untimely death of Arthur was of course a very difficult loss for his parents and all of the children. Everyone grieves loss differently and it was said his parents really never chose to speak of the loss of their dear son.
