Moscow -- Ernest Ashley Gustin, 68 , a retired logger and farmer, died at 3:45 a.m. Tuesday at his Moscow home. Gustin was born Feb. 27, 1905, at Pomeroy. He married Rose Burton at Moscow Feb. 6, 1924. She survives at their home on Mountain View Road. Other survivors Include a son, Louis Gustin, Idaho Falls; a daughter, Loretta Andersen, Tacoma, a brother, Clay Gustin, Deary; a sister, Goldie Centers, Lewiston; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be Friday at Short's Chapel at 2 p.m. The Rev. E. Dee Freeborn of the Moscow Nazarene Church will officiate. Burial will be at the Moscow City Cemetery.
