Bio
Mollie Fugate/Stuck was born 15 Oct 1901 at Dugginsville, Ozark, Missouri. She was the daughter of Andrew Jackson Fugate and Mary Ellen Henderson/Fugate. Mollie married John Dewey Stuck on 27 Apr 1927 at Guthrie, Logan, Oklahoma. John and Mollie had 7 children plus 2 daughters Mollie brought into the marriage. Twins; Wilbur and Willard Stuck, Jack Stuck, Gordon Stuck, Bobby Gene Stuck, Ernestine Stuck/DuVall and Yvonne Stuck/Sheets, plus her daughters; Geneva Evans/Edwards and Ivon Evans. Her siblings were: George Dewey Fugate, Lue Cindy Fugate/Fisher and Eabe Fugate Mollie was raised around Dugginsville, Missouri, Lead Hill and Peel, Arkansas. After she married, she lived at Crescent, Oklahoma and Haskell, Oklahoma. Mollie was a hard working outdoors woman and what she said was law. No one argued with her. Mollie lived with her son Wilbur Stuck and his family. They had moved to Huntsville, Arkansas together to help manage the farm of her son Gordon Stuck. Mollie died 10 Dec 1972 from a blood clot after a hip surgery at the Washington General Hospital in Fayetteville, Washington, Arkansas she is buried next to a grandson Marty Stuck at Kingston Cemetery – Kingston, Madison, Arkansas. Mollie was preceded in death by her parents; Jack and Mary Fugate, her husband; John Stuck, a daughter Ivon Evans, grand daughter, Debbie Stuck, grandson Marty Stuck, brother Dewey Fugate, and sister, Lue Fisher.
