SHREVEPORT, LA - Hilda Mae Reiley Andrews Greene, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother died peacefully on March 3, 2002 in Fort Worth, Texas. Private graveside services will be held March 5, 2002 in Summerfield, LA with memorial service at the First Methodist Church in Shreveport, LA at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Center of Development in Learning (CDL), 208 S. Tyler, Covington, LA 70433. Hilda was one of six girls born on August 11, 1912 in Lottie, LA on the family plantation. She was a descendant of Arthur Bostwick, immigrant ancestor of the family who was baptized in Tarparley in Chishire County, England, December 22, 1603. Hilda was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Shreveport, LA. She served on the board of directors. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Pete Greene, who died in 1973. Survivors: three children; daughter Ruthie and son-in-law Lee Williams of Fort Worth, daughter Jan Greene of Dallas, son and daughter-in-law Jack and Judy Greene of Covington, LA. Grandchildren: Covert Anderson of Ft. Worth, Kay Genus of Fort Worth, Shelly Sawyer of Atlanta-, GA, Whitney Greene of Birmingham, AL, Harris Greene of Steamboat Springs, CO, Garrett Greene of Covington, LA, seven great-grandchildren. Sisters: Rose Guedry, Doris Goode, Ruth Wimmer of Houston, Leigh Kent of Dallas. Nieces and nephews: Jim Harris, David Kent, Katherine Pritchett of Houston, TX, Jane Kent of Dallas, JH Goode of Lockhart, TX.
