SCARBROUGH, Blaine P. 82, of Springfield passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2006 in the Eaglewood Care Center. He was born November 25, 1923 in Poke County, Tennessee, the son of Oscar and Louise Annabelle (McDowell) Scarbrough. He was a Building Inspector for Clark County for 20 years and a member of the Carpenters Union 712 for over 50 years. Mr. Scarbrough was a veteran of the United States Army and served our country proudly during World War II. Survivors include his wife of over 50 years, Frankie (Cox) Scarbrough; one daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Norm Hall of Springfield; three sons and one daughter-in-law, David and Kathy Scarbrough of Allen, Texas, Gary Scarbrough of Springfield and Michael Scarbrough of Columbus, Ohio; two brothers; three grandchildren, Sam Mulkey Jr., Lisa Isaacs and Kimberly Hardy; six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and three brothers. A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, March 31, 2006 from 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday in the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with Minister John Peterson officiating.
