Fremont Tribune (Fremont, Nebr.), July 3, 1990, p. 2, col. 1 Wilma M. Chromy The funeral for Wilma M. Chromy, 70, of 1348 Mayfair Ave., will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Fremont. Mrs. Chromy died Sunday, July 1, 1980, at the Ogallala Community Hospital in Ogallala. She was a homemaker. Wilma Vyhlidal was born Jan. 7, 1920, in North Bend. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Fremont. She married Cyril Chromy Dec. 27, 1938, near Morse Bluff. They farmed near Linwood before retiring and moving to Fremont in December 1977. He died March 29, 1984. Survivors include a son, Bernard of Sidney; a daughter, Mrs. Gordon (Bernadine) Cann of Melbourne, Fla.; two brothers, John and Leonard, both of Fremont; a sister, Mrs. Charles (Leona) Loehr of Fremont; and seven grandchildren. The Rev. Charles Swanson will officiate Wednesday’s services. A rosary will be said 7:30 tonight at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Visitation is in progress until 9 tonight at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery near Morse Bluff. Memorials have been established to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Fremont and St. George’s Catholic Church in Morse Bluff.
