The Neligh Leader , October 25, 1950, p. 1, col. 2 Succumbs Tuesday Mrs. O. L. Reinke, 49, died about 9:30 Tuesday evening at their farm home eight miles northwest of Neligh. She had been in failing health for several years. Stepanka Chavlik Reinke was born August 28, 1904 at Linwood, Nebr. At the age of twelve she moved with her parents to a ranch in Wheeler county. On January 12, 1922, she was married to Oswald L. Reinke. Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Flenniken, Elgin, Nebr.; three sons, Lyle, Samuel and David, at home; one brother, Steve Chavlik, Chambers, Neb., and seven sisters: Helen Chavlik, Denver, Mary Pavel, North Bend, Anna Chavlik, Ewing, Emily Chavlik, Elgin, and Rose M. Marcan, Bette Sweeney and Barbara Talber, all of Omaha. Her parents, and two brothers and one sister preceded her in death. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m., Friday morning at St. Francis Catholic church in Neligh. Burial will be in Laurel Hill cemetery. Reinke, 49, died Tuesday evening at her home 9 miles northwest of Neligh after an illness of two years. Funeral services will be held Friday morning, Oct. 27th, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Francis Catholic church in Neligh with Father Hayes in charge. Burial will be in Laurel Hill cemetery, Neligh. Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Robert Flenniken of Elgin and a sister, Miss Emma Shavlik, also of Elgin.
