Ben H Coleman Rites Monday Marlow- Ben Harrison Colman 87 of Marlow, died Saturday afternoon in a local hospital after a long illness. A graveside funeral services will be held at 11am Monday at the Rush Springs Cemetery, Conducted by Rev Harold Almon, Assistant pastor of the Fifth Street Baptist Church in Marlow. Coleman was born Sept 17 1888 in Leavenworth, Ind, he had lived in Rush Springs or Marlow since he was 19. Coleman married Hattie K Moore in July 3 1910 at Rush Springs, She Died Fed 12 1972, A Retired farmer, Coleman was a member of the Fifth Street Baptist Church Survivors include two sons, Leon Coleman of Sterling and Fred Coleman of Oklahoma City, Two Daughters, Mrs Helen Dalson of Norman and Mrs June Preuss of Euless, Tex and 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren Burial will be at the Rush Springs Cememtery at 11 am under the direction of the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home ----- Father Joseph Miller Coleman (1862-1944) Mother Commanche Manchie' Myers Sibbett (1865-1927) Spouse Hattie Kansas Moore Married 1910 3 Jul in OKC, OKLA Birth 23 Feb 1889 in McKinney, Texas Death 12 Feb 1972 in Rush Springs, Oklahoma Children Harold Lamoin (1911-1973) Joe Leon (1912-1983) Helen Bennie (1924-2006) Iris June (1926-2010)
