HELEN (COLEMAN) DALSTON, 82, of Grapevine, Texas, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2006 in Grapevine. Services will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, August 2, 2006, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs with Rev. Elmer Whitehead officiating. Burial will be in the Rush Springs Cemetery, under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs, Oklahoma. Helen was born Thursday, January 31, 1924 in Rush Springs, Oklahoma, to the late Ben H. and the late Hattie K. (Moore) Coleman. Helen attended the Oak Grove school and graduated from Rush Springs High School. After high school she attended Cameron University. Helen was raised in Rush Springs, moved to Norman, then to Ann Arbor, Mich., Houston, Texas and finally Euless, Texas. She enjoyed playing golf, reading, and was a volunteer for Meals On Wheels. Helen was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include a brother, Fred Coleman and wife Opal of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a sister, June Preuss and husband Emmett of Euless, Texas; two nieces and six nephews, including Steve Preuss of Euless, Texas. She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher A. Dalston; parents; two brothers, Harold Coleman and Leon Coleman, and their wives, Ruth and Charlene. Pallbearers will be Stephan J. Preuss, Douglas K. Preuss, Larry Coleman and Joe Coleman.
