Bio

Anna Marie Simpson Davis, age 86, a New Castle resident went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 3, 2020. She was born November 22, 1934 in Indianapolis, Indiana, a daughter of the late Loren and Marie Lee Simpson. Anna was a New Castle resident most of her life and had worked 20 years for the Satellite Café and 5 years for Bud Alexander Restaurant. She was a homemaker and treasured being a mother. She was a born again Christian and attended Abundant Life Church of God. Left to cherish her loving memory include a son, Anthony Davis of New Castle; four sisters, Wilma Everman, Thelma Chesher (Bob), Janice Hammond, Esther Mason (Jim), all of New Castle; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Macer-Hall-Marcum & Moffitt Funeral Home, 2011 East Broad Street, New Castle with Pastor Doug Keppel officiating. Burial will follow at South Mound Cemetery, New Castle. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m., until service time at the funeral home. Funeral directors and staff are honored to serve the Davis family.
