NOTE - BIRTH AND DEATH YEARS ARE APPROXIMATE We know very little of Mary Little. Her family likely traveled to South Carolina from Virginia or North Carolina, but we just don’t know. It’s possible that she’s not a Little and has been confused with Mary Little Riley, who’s birth and death years and travels are very similar. Most of the Littles born before 1800 buried in Laurens County, South Carolina originated from Ireland. Known children of Mary Little Osborn & Langston Osborn include: (Daughter) Osborn (1806-c1810) Daniel Osborn (1810-c1834) William Riley Osborn (1811-1900) - moved to Marion Co, AL, married Susan Holcomb, and later moved to Tishomingo Co, MS. Mary Elizabeth Osborn Spradlin (1816-1880) - married James Spradlin, moved to Marion Co, AL and later Tishomingo Co, MS. James and many of the children moved to Clark Co, AR. Elizabeth "Betsy" Osborn Williams (1819-1875) - married Henry Roland Williams and lived in Carroll Co, GA. John D. Osborn (1822-1895) - married Sarah "Sallie" Jones and moved to Tishomingo County, MS. Samuel T. Osborn (1825-bef 1880) – married Cyrena (or Serena) Wright. Said to have died in Mississippi from long-term injuries suffered during the Civil War. Cyrena and most of the children moved to Lamar Co, TX. They often went by “Osbourn” Langston Y. Osborn (1829-1862) - married Tabitha J. Neely and moved to Marion County, AL. Died in the Civil War. Buried in Virginia.
