Bio

DICK ZELENY Dick Zeleny, 40, of Sigourney, Iowa, died Wednesday, January 24, following an Illness. He was born April 14, 1918, in Seward to Mildred Conway and Bill Zeleny. Following the death of his parents, he lived with the late Tessie Conway, a life-long resident of Seward. He married Doris Blackman in Lincoln on February 1, 1954. Survivors include his wife, one daughter, Julie of Sigourney; one son, Jerry of Sigourney, two sisters, Margaret Lopez of Miami, Florida and Florence Duffek of Sheridan, Wyoming, uncles and aunts, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Zeleny, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Zeleny, Mrs. Martha Slonecker, all of Seward. Services were held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sigourney, with burial at Harper, Iowa. From the Seward County Independent, Seward, Nebraska, Wednesday, January 31st, 1979
