Lavonia Hance, 72, of McAlester, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020 at McAlester Regional Health Center. Family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Indianola Cemetery with Rev. Jamie Kirkpatrick officiating. Burial will follow. Lavonia was born on January 5, 1948 in McAlester to Martin Bailey Mosley and Fannie (Crawley) Mosley. She married Ralph Hance on April 1, 1963 in McAlester. Survivors include her children and spouses, Rhonda and Mike Blevins, Randy and Karla Barnes, Tammy and Robert Karr, Nickie and David Helton; grandchildren, Jennifer Pedigo, Jutanna Bowden, Stefanie James, Casten Karr, Kyle Karr and Trey Karr; numerous great-grandchildren; special friend, Tom Uva. She was preceded in death her husband; parents; granddaughter, Amber Hayes; two brothers and seven sisters. Active pallbearers will be Robert Karr, Randy Barnes, Mike Blevins, Casten Karr, Kyle Karr and Trey Karr. Honorary pallbearers will be David Helton and Christian Helton.
