John Dale “Johnny” Hall, 71, of McAlester, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at his home. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 27, 2020 at the Shady Grove Cemetery Pavilion with Pastor Gene Hankins officiating. Burial will follow. Johnny was born on July 20, 1949 in McAlester to John W. and Pearl Marie (Swift) Hall. He graduated from Indianola High School and enjoyed fishing, riding and family gatherings. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth H. and Carol S. Hall of McAlester; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sharon Fine of Wallowa, OR, Joan and John Cotton of McAlester, Sherri and Bill Cathey of Indianola, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and great-great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, John W. Hall, mother, Pearl M. Hall, and sister, Joyce Timmerman. Active pallbearers will be Kenneth Hall, Wesley Hall, Warren Hall, Johnathan Klink, Charles Godwin and Jason Godwin. Honorary pallbearers will be Marlin Brown, Clayton Brown, Odale Brown, Randy Goode, Harold Hearod, Billy Crenshaw, James Smith, John Cotton and Terry Blassingame.
