Waxahachie (TX) Daily Light, Sun., Sep 1, 1974, p. 8 Mrs. Clara Farrar, a resident of the Rockett community, died at the Renfro Nursing Home Saturday afternoon. She was 73 Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Rudolph-Owens Chapel of the Chimes. Burial will be in the Smith Cemetery near Rockett with the Rev. Gary Bronson officiating. Mrs. Farrar was born Aug. 5, 1901 in Rockett and had lived in the Rockett Community all of her life. She was a member of the Rockett Christian Church. She is survived by a son, Doyle Farrar of Rockett; 3 sisters, Mrs. Hamah Robrts and Mrs. Valerie Dunavant of Rockett and Mrs. Ila Faye Walker of Holliday, 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and a brother Raymond Humphries of Rockett. The family will be at the home of Clifton Dunavant in Rocket.
