He is preceded in death by his wife Christine; parents Charles Sr. and Annie Hosek; sisters Lily Magel, Bessie Green and Adela Krebs; brothers Lee and Melvin Hosek and by numerous nieces and nephews. He is survived by his daughter Sandra (Charles) Passe; loving friend Gladys Meyer; sister Mary Rose Pell; brothers William (Suzie) Hosek, Edward (Frances) Hosek, and Eugene (Martha) Hosek. Charles was born in Poth, Texas attended school at Three Oaks. He later went on to work at Lone Star Brewery and retired after 35 dedicated years. Charles enjoyed budding pecan trees, making wine, fishing at the Coast, bowling, going to the casino, playing bunco, and traveling with Gladys to many places, including Canada, California, and Las Vegas. He loved his dogs Tex and Toby. Charles was a lifetime member of St. Benedict's Catholic Church and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. SERVICES Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. ~ 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at Dellcrest Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 14, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The service will conclude in the chapel.
