Mary Frances Tobola, 64, of West, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007, in Waco. A rosary will be recited and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1 p.m. Sunday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, with the Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Mary Frances was born in San Diego, Calif., to the late Jimmie J. and Frances (Bartosh) Tobola Jr. She attended St. Mary's School and graduated from West High School, before attending 4-C Business College in Waco. She was a loan and insurance officer for Central Texas Federal Credit Union for 23 years until she retired in 2006. Prior to that she was with Tobola & Behringer Insurance Agency from 1980 to 1983 and also worked for S.J. Guthrie Real Estate Company, all in Waco. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption. Mary Frances enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She was a big Texas A&M fan, enjoyed reading, working, being around people, crocheting, riding around and seeing nice things. Survivors include her brothers, Vincent J. Tobola, Jr., Lt. Col. USAF Retired, of Waco, James E. Tobola and wife, Becky Jo, of Hewitt, and David P. Tobola and wife, Gail, of Bartlesville, Okla.; nephews, Nathan Tobola, Philip Tobola and John Tobola; niece, Charidy Trevino and husband, Florencio; great-nephew, Keegan Trevino; great-niece, Brianna Trevino; and many other relatives and friends.
