Funeral services for Thomas Frank Farmer, 71, of 801 Westway will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Goen Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Jerry Jones and the Rev. Ralph Johnson will officiate. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Mr. Farmer died Sunday at Care Inn in Sanger. He was born July 18, 1904, in Denton county. He married Odessa Smith September 7, 1924 in Aubrey. He was a member of Gribble Springs Baptist Church. He was a retired gravel contractor and a lifetime resident of Denton County. Survivors include his wife, Odessa Farmer of Denton; three daughters, Dorothy Lee George of Sanger, Joanne Luginbyhl of Denton and Patsy Avella Calvert of Ponder; one son, Bobby Farmer of Argyle; two half sisters, Mabry Bus of Bristow, Oklahoma and Laura Hodges of Caney, Kansas; one brother, d. L. farmer of Denton; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Goen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
