Published in the Ord Quiz, Ord, Nebraska Stanley Eldon Hulinsky, 58, of Ord died Dec. 25, 1999 at the Valley County Hospital in Ord. Funeral services were held Dec. 29 at 10:30 am at the Bethel Baptist Church in Ord. Burial was in the Ord City Cemetery. Military rites were conducted by the Ord VFW and American Legion. Mr. Hulinsky was born Dec. 18, 1941 to Mike and Alice (Bruha) Hulinsky at Burwell. He was raised in Burwell where he attended school. He graduated from Burwell High School in 1960. From 1961 to 1965 he served in the United States Air Force in the Vietnam War. On Feb. 17, 1968 he married Mary Lou Kirby at Ord. The couple made their first home on a farm near Burwell. In 1985 they moved into Ord. Mr. Hulinsky worked at the North Loup Irrigation District for the last 20 years. He was a member of the VFW. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and polka music. He is survived by his father, Mike E. Hulinsky of Burwell; his wife, Mary Lou of Ord; two sons, Timothy of Ravenna and Stanley Jr., of Ord; three daughters, Janet Hulinsky of Ord, Wanda Hulinsky and Rachel Hulinsky, both of Grand Island; three brothers, Vincent of Burwell, Raymond of Albion and Lumir of Lincoln; one sister, Edith Burson of Holdrege and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Hulinsky; an infant son, Larry Hulinsky; and an infant daughter, Katrina Hulinsky. Contributor: Kathy Burgess Burr (47226369)
