Harold Snipes March 27, 1948 - August 14, 2020 Raymond Harold Snipes, son of the late Jesse Arthur Snipes and Frieda Louise (Cook) Snipes was born March 27, 1948 in Holcomb, Missouri and departed this life on August 14, 2020 at the age of 72 years at his home in Sumach, Missouri. Survivors include: His Brother: Hubert (Glenda) Snipes of Kennett, Missouri Sisters: Betty Rose (Jessie) Tharpe of Clarksville, Tennessee Jessie Louise Snipes of Clarksville, Tennessee Other relatives and many friends. Harold was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: J.C. Cook and Birtie (Limbaugh) Cook, three brothers: Joe Snipes, Allen Snipes, and Buford Snipes and one sister: Goldie Mary Howard. Harold was a lifelong member of Sumach Methodist Church and a fixture of the annual Kennett fair parade driving the family farm 1952 John Deere tractor. He loved every minute and enjoyed the fellowship with his family and friends and a great catfish dinner. Visitation will be 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Sunday, August 16, 2020 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, Missouri. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, August 16, 2020 at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett, Missouri. Reverend’s Jessie Tharpe and Josh Tharpe officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Mike Snipes, Tracey Snipes, Aaron Tharpe, Kendal Snipes, Wayne Nash and Jerry Snipes. Honorary pallbearers: Tommy Cook, Keith Nash, Mark Dye, Jerry Franks, Tony Howard and Stephen Rooney.
